MT BULLER welcomed a visit from Minister for Environment and Climate Change, Ryan Smith, who officially opened the resort’s most recent development, the Village Square Plaza visitor facility on Saturday morning.
The Village Square Plaza (formerly known as Cow Camp Plaza) was given a complete renovation and refurbishment prior to this snow season.
Upgrades included a new lift-accessible mezzanine level providing double the seating and dining capacity, better access to public amenities and rental, retail and food and beverage outlets, as well as a new orientation for improved flow into the Village Square.
Visitors to the resort can also enjoy a fresh new look and feel, with plenty more space to relax, wait for friends or enjoy a ski break.
Mt Buller Mt Stirling Resort Management chief executive officer, John Huber, said the Village Square Plaza refurbishment helps to enhance the visitor experience while improving the resort for the future.
“The Village Square Plaza building is an important hub for visitors to the resort, and will now assist to create better access and amenity for visitors and residents alike, while providing improved flow through the arrival point through to the Village Square and key resort touchpoints,” Mr Huber said.
