MANSFIELD Eagles under 14 player Warwick Crawford won the Wangaratta District Junior Football League under 14 Best and Fairest Award.
Crawford was best in the competition based on umpires votes from each round of the season, and was announced the winner at a function on Monday night.
He polled 33 votes, three ahead of Benalla player Patrick Warner on 30 votes.
There was success too for the under 16 Eagles, with James (Jimmy) Chiller awarded best first year player, while also coming third in the under 16 Best and Fairest.
Both players had stellar first seasons in the league, and helped their respective teams to finals appearances, with Chiller hoping to go all the way on Sunday as the under 16s play in the grand final.
