ALLISON Walker has been central to events in Mansfield for some eight years.
If not front and centre running the Farmers Market, then she was behind the scenes in many other events.
Alli Walker was born in the 1970s in Tasmania, but her family made the move to Melbourne when she was just six weeks old.
“I lived at Yarrambat until I was 22,” she said.
“Yarrambat Primary School, a small school of 60, was my first school, followed by Hurstbridge High School and then McRobertson Girls High School.
“I played state level water polo during my teens, so my career ambition was something to do with sport and allied health.”
