MANSFIELD District Hospital is moving forward into the 21st century for delivery and service to the community, according to hospital board chairperson Rowan Swaney.
Mr Swaney was presenting the 143rd annual report to staff and interested community members at the Alzberg Resort last Tuesday evening.
“Here this evening are families and individuals who in the past 12 months have given financial support to the hospital,” Mr Swaney said.
“In particular, I recognise and thank the Harry and Clare Friday Foundation, the Mansfield Hospital Auxiliary and the Bindaree Auxiliary.
“I want to thank those people who continue to serve the hospital,” he said.
“It is through their efforts that we maintain our high standard of health care.
