MANSFIELD speedway superstar Max Fricke has just returned home from a busy speedway season in the United Kingdom and Europe.
Now, he is looking forward to the spectacle of the DON Smallgoods 2015 Australian FIM Speedway Grand Prix when it takes place at Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium on Saturday, October 24.
The 19-year-old current Australian under 21 speedway champion has been named as a reserve rider for the grand final showdown but he will be lapping up the world class experience.
“To go to Melbourne and to see how the Grand Prix will be run will be an amazing experience,” Fricke said.
“I still get to practice on Friday, experience the pits during the meeting, and I’ll be on stand-by if anything happens.
“I’m hoping to get a ride, I’m not expecting to, but it will be really nice if I could.
