LIFE for Margaret Adcock has certainly been adventurous and community-minded.
Mrs Adcock, now in her 90s, gave a talk at the recent volunteers’ morning tea at The Station, the home of the Mansfield Historical Society, as part of the thank you and Volunteers Week.
She spoke mostly about her early working life, when she was employed as a clerk at the Forestry Commission—as it was then called.
