AWARDING the Mansfield Shire’s Citizen of the Year to Jamieson’s Cathy Raeburn for her work as a licensed shelter for our native wildlife seemed most appropriate on Australia Day.
The mother of five is known for her tireless work rescuing and rehabilitating wildlife, and hopefully returning them to the bush.
Her dedication is such that she is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
