AGEING council plant equipment is getting a second life in the community.
In May, Mansfield Shire Council donated or auctioned several surplus items to support local groups and raise funds.
Merton Hall and Recreation Reserve received a brush cutter, pole saw and generator.
“The generator will be invaluable during power outages,” said Margaret FitzGerald, Chair of the Merton Reserves committee.
