Mansfield kinder looking to teach Taungurung language

MANSFIELD Kindergarten is hoping to incorporate the Taungurung Aboriginal Language into its bilingual teachings in the new year.

Mansfield’s director Nicole Beautyman said Mansfield Kindergarten is in the process of forming its reconciliation action plan.

“We feel it would be good incorporate the Taungurung language into our indigenous teachings within the kindergarten,” she said.
