MERRIJIG local Mervyn O’Connell competed in the 2024 national speed skydiving championships in Barwon Heads recently raising his world ranking from 31st to 15th becoming the fastest person in Australia.
Mervyn has achieved an average speed of 509 kilometres per hour in training
