POLICE are investigating an incident after a horse was allegedly shot illegally on a rural property in Merton.
The horse was last sighted Wednesday morning (November 8) and was sadly located deceased early Thursday (November 9).
Police are asking if members of the public heard or saw anything they believe may be related to this incident, could they please contact Mansfield Police Station on 5775 2555.
