MORE than 150 people gathered at the Mansfield Golf Club last Thursday night for what was a celebration of sport in all forms.

With several awards up for grabs, young Bridie Peterson was named the Junior Sportsperson of the Year, following an exciting and impressive year in the cowboy racing arena.

Heading to the United States of America in November last year for the Extreme Cowboy Racing World Championships, Bridie quickly moved up the world rankings.
