THE convenience restaurant (touted to be a McDonalds) is one step further away from Mansfield following a practice day hearing in which the Mansfield Shire Council won three matters at VCAT.

The applicants, Ratio Consultants, lost their motion at VCAT which would have seen the developers able to limit community involvement in the case.

They were also unable to have the two applications merged into one (service station and restaurant).
