THE MDBA U12 Boys Blue basketball representative team showcased their talent and determination at the Southern Peninsula basketball tournament held on November 11 and 12.

Saturday's games saw the U12 Boys Blue facing off against tough competition, testing their skills and resilience.

Game one was against Foster, and although it was an early 8am start, the boys gave it their all, but unfortunately went down 17 to 41.

Best players were Ned Forrest, Travis Langlands, and Jude MacIntosh.

Game two was against a local Frankston side.

The boys were quick to fire up but was unable to secure a win.

Best players were Jed Robinson, Luca Fados and Jude MacIntosh.

The third game on Saturday was played against Meeniyan who proved stronger across the court.

Final score saw Mansfield lose 32 to 19. Best players were Declan Rabson, Luca Fados, Brody Doeven and little Jude MacIntosh again.

On Sunday, the U12 Boys Blue team continued to impress as they navigated through the tournament brackets.

The team's chemistry and communication on the court were evident, as they worked well together.

The players showcased not only their individual talents but also their ability to function as a cohesive unit, a testament to the dedication and hard work put in during their training sessions.

It was another early start for the final game on Sunday. The boys played Southern Peninsula Sharks, who, unfortunately were too strong for the Mansfield boys, going down 13 to 35.

The best players were Ned Forrest, Luca Fados, Jed Robinson and Travis Langlands.
