MANSFIELD Pony Club's senior member Molly Lines and her Off–The–Track horse Tadpole recently competed at the prestigious Melbourne International Three Day Event.

Taking place from June 9 to 13 at the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre, the annual event consisted of three phases – Dressage, Cross Country and Showjumping.

In her first time competing at the event Molly jumped clear and under time to win the RV Off–The–Track CCIJ2*L.

Molly and Taddy (as he is affectionately known) have been training hard for a number of years now and this year the hard work has finally paid off.

Last year's event was cancelled due to COVID.

Molly is currently completing her final year at Mansfield Secondary College, and to compete at such a level in equestrian at Molly's age is an amazing achievement.

Her success is owed to many hours of hard work, amazing commitment and dedication.

"Well done also to her parents Bill and Lauren Lines for supporting her and helping to fulfil her equestrian dreams," said Mansfield Pony Club president Joanne Clegg.

Molly has been a member of Mansfield Pony Club since she was three years old.

"Congratulations to Molly for not only competing at Melbourne International Three Day Event, but also winning her section CCIJ2*L," Joanne said.

"Well done Molly and Tadpole."

Mansfield Pony Club has many riders out and about representing the club on a regular basis in many disciplines.

The club meet is held on the first Sunday of the month at the Mansfield Showgrounds.

New members are always welcome.
