ON Wednesday September 18, Mansfield Primary School competed at the State Netball championships at the Waverly Netball centre.

The mixed netball team had to win Divisional and Regional competitions to get to State.

The year six students played in an indoor stadium against all boy and mixed teams.

They played three games in total.

Unfortunately they did not make it to finals, but wow….. what an accomplishment to have made it to State.

It’s the first time Mansfield Primary have competed at a State level in Netball so the experience alone was great to be a part of.

"Each student played their absolute best and should be extremely proud of all they accomplished," said Mansfield Primary School's Jen Driessen.

"What a team!

"Thank you to all the family members that came to support this amazing team and for your support throughout the whole year."
