Council’s ‘speed dating for housing’ event is on again in August, offering residents and developers the perfect chance to discuss local housing needs and get professional guidance on realising their vision.
Key council staff will be on-hand to answer questions about planning, regulatory services related to accommodation and food premises, building services and economic development.
The open-door event uses a speed dating format, matching participants with the staff best suited to give guidance on their enquiry.
Participants have the opportunity for a 20-30 minute one-on-one, with extra ‘dates’ an option for enquiries covering several areas.
It also offers a vibrant networking opportunity — a chance to connect with fellow builders, investors, and members of our local community while learning about important considerations for building in Mansfield Shire.
All are welcome, whether it’s to start exploring options or to progress existing plans.
The event will be held on Wednesday 6 August 2025 at the municipal offices.
Community members are invited to drop in from 10am-12pm or from 1pm-3pm.
The August event follows another similar event held in November 2024.
No RSVP is necessary.
